Petit Verdot was my first favorite grape, back when we started making wine 6 years ago. I hadn't been able to make my own yet as the drought really hurt our crop, and we chose to co-ferment the PV into the Cab so we could at least do something with it! But finally in 2018, we got enough grapes to make 4 barrels, and I think this wine is the absolute star of the vintage. It has the body and power you want from a Petit Verdot, while mainting its elegance and character. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this wine, and I am so excited to finally release it.
