Our Cabernet Sauvignon is special to us as it was the first wine we ever made, in 2013. It started a tradition of "finding our mountain," and set the precedent for greatness in all things we produce. We are proud of the second vintage of this rich, yet approachable Cabernet Sauvignon.
Ripe dark berry fruit make way to soft vanilla nuances from oak aging; Classic currant flavors and some smokiness are present, but it is not too herbaceous. This wine is full-bodied, with approachable tannins.
We co-fermented our Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot to round out the edges. The blend was aged in new American oak barrels for 20 months.
